Product information and pricing

TransferPro is available with two different user interfaces. The most popular is the graphical user interface (GUI) which allows the user to operate the program by moving and clicking the mouse. This interface is very intuitive and easy to use. In the TransferPro part number, the graphical interface is designated by a -M (for Motif) in the part number for all platforms except for the Solaris platform which uses a -O in the part number (for OpenLook). 

The second user interface available is the command line  interface. With this interface, the user operates the program by typing commands in a UNIX command shell. The advantage of the command line interface is that it can be used in UNIX shell scripts allowing the user to automate TransferPro operations.  In addition, third parties can add support for Macintosh and MS-DOS formatted media to their own programs, using their own user interface. 

DIT sells both interfaces together in one package called the TransferPro bundle. The bundle is designated by a -B in the part number.

The -CD suffix shown in each part number below, is for distribution media on CD-ROM. At this time, TransferPro is available only on CD-ROM or as an electronic download from this web site.

Maintenance Agreements

DIT offers maintenance agreements for TransferPro. A maintenance agreement entitles the purchaser to one full year of free upgrades and unlimited technical support. A single interface, nodelock, maintenance agreement costs $119.00, and is renewable yearly. To order, call a sales person at DIT, and be sure to have the following information about your copy of TransferPro ready: the computer system, whether it is a graphical or command-line version (or both), and the product serial number.

TransferPro Upgrade pricing 

Upgrading an older version of TransferPro to the latest version is quick and easy! You can download the latest version by clicking the "Downloads" button  located at the left of the browser window. Simply call or fax us with the details of how you would like to pay and  provide us with the serial number of the TransferPro you currently have (located on your certificate of authenticity,  the User Manual cover, or the CD ROM disk). We will provide you with a new password key to enable the latest version of the software. You can request a new password by clicking the "License Key" button located at the top of your browser window.

Sales terms and shipping information

We take Visa, MasterCard, American Express, bank wire transfer, personal or company checks, money orders, purchase orders, and Net terms of various length (with approved credit). You can pay in advance with a credit card or check, or pay Collect-On-Delivery (domestic shipments only for CODs, please). For international shipments, please contact us for shipping charges, since prices will vary depending on the destination.

If you prefer to have the shipping charges billed directly to your shipping account, please provide us with your UPS or FedEx account number along with a faxed request on your letterhead asking us to bill the shipping charges directly to your account. We occasionally ship via Airborne Express as well; we can use your Airborne account for shipping charges as described above.

Ground shipments: $11.00. Allow up to 1 week for shipment.
2nd Day Air: $15.00. Arrives within 48 hours.
Next Day Air: $20.00. Arrives within 24 hours.

International shipments

Arrival time and shipping charges vary based upon the final destination. Call for charges.

We ship via UPS and add the shipping charges to your invoice. If you would like us to ship via FedEx or Airborne, or you would like to have the shipping charges billed directly to your UPS account number, please supply us with your account number when you order.
